Thanks to the hard work of our team and the incredible generosity of our customers, we raised an impressive amount for the cancer research charity through calendar sales.
In November 2024, Access Self Storage proudly unveiled our industry’s first-ever calendar, the highly anticipated 2025 Storage Unit Calendar! This one-of-a-kind calendar showcased 12 impeccable storage units from across Access Self Storage locations, featuring breath taking photography that highlighted the best in the storage industry. What made this calendar even more special was that 100% of the proceeds were donated to Cancer Research UK, supporting their vital, life-saving work in cancer prevention and treatment. Every cancer research donation helps advance critical studies, fund new treatments, and provide hope to countless individuals and families impacted by cancer.
Our stores rallied behind the campaign, with standout performances from locations like Reading, King’s Cross, Cricklewood, and Southampton, who played a crucial role in this remarkable effort. Every calendar purchase made a real difference, and we’re incredibly proud of the collaboration and spirit shown by our Access Self Storage community.
The 2025 Storage Unit Calendar didn’t just raise funds—it also generated buzz across the UK. The campaign achieved 32 media features, including coverage in major outlets like the Daily Star Online, the London News, and the Southern Daily Echo. The campaign caught the attention of industry leaders, with Rennie Schafer, CEO of the Self Storage Association (SSA), praising our efforts. Rennie made a very generous donation and received multiple copies, further showcasing the broad support for our initiative.
