There’s still time to enter the Access Self Storage Business Awards.
Competition for this year’s Access Self Storage business awards is hotting up! We’ve been inundated with entries from businesses around the UK – all competing for the main prize of a £4,000 business package at one of our leading self-storage sites.
We created the competition, which is free to enter, to support the many innovative companies that work with us throughout the year and use our services to enable them to grow their businesses.
Kevin Pratt, spokesperson for Access Self Storage Business Awards, says: “We are delighted to have received some brilliant applications from businesses that store and operate within our facilities. With our awards programme, we want to bolster and highlight the success of entrepreneurs who are running businesses from our storage units throughout the UK.”
This year’s judging panel includes:
• Gareth Morris – Access Regional Manager
• Carlos Sousa – Access Sales Manager
• Lee Porteus – Access Store Manager
• Alon Shulman – Entrepreneur.
Guest judge Alon Shulman is CEO and Founder of Entrepreneurs Universe, a forum that helps entrepreneurs to find angel investors and engage with captains of industry. He believes the Business Awards play an important role in highlighting innovative entrepreneurship, saying:
“It takes a resourceful and creative entrepreneur to recognise the opportunity provided by operating a business from a storage unit or would-be blank business canvas. I am pleased to be involved in the judging of this year’s business awards, which recognise and promote business innovation and entrepreneurship in the UK.”
This year’s competition welcomes entries by 31st December 2014 for the following categories:
• Home-grown Business of the Year
• Tradesperson of the year
• Small Business of the Year
• Access Business of the Year.
A drinks reception will be held at the Grand Royale Hotel in London on Thursday February 5th 2015 to celebrate and announce the 2014 winners.
The Access Self Storage business package has a value of approximately £4,000, including a tailored publicity campaign from a Gold Lion-winning agency for the overall Business of the Year to implement.
Businesses that have flourished within Access Self Storage include: Gibbs Bookshop at Access Self Storage Manchester, who set up a successful virtual bookshop in storage instead of paying costly overheads on the high street; Saturday Sewing Sessions in Chelsea, who grew from a small studio flat to a large unit running daily sewing classes; and Elite Sports Nutrition, who use storage facilities as office space for meetings and storing stock.
Applications for the Access Self Storage Business Awards 2015 will be accepted between September 1st and December 31st 2014 inclusive. Entries can be submitted online or completed at your local Access store.
Entry to the Access Self Storage Business Awards 2015 has now closed.
